A steady breeze, the temperature hovers around 32 degrees. In the shades with the arms close to the body to comfort the coldness, introspection of retrospection begins. A bitter-sweet moment, sweet because there have been times that are missed…
A write up the below will follow, but first,
UPDATE - 15.11.2007 :
i got the above inscribed onto my body on oct 11. i entered the tattoo center with 3 variations of the above design and after close to 10 minutes of re-sketching and some iterations later i finalised what was going to be put. For the next 30 odd minutes all i felt was 100’s of needles going in and out of my skin every second. It was painful but not like i had imagined (read as ‘not that painful’) but definitely irritating. And in all my attempts to flow the whole process, i would get disoriented by the vibrating needle and had to face straight for the most of the time.
It is done !
After a through checkup of what was on me, i asked for edges to be more sharp and pronounced. The tattoo artist sharpened and made the edges as asked. And after 5 separate requests for the each of the edges, i was convinced the work was done.
Yup thats done.
With this one on me, i have got more craving to get the intended to be ‘first’ tattoo on. But i do not know how long i will have to wait to get it on.
How many times has opportunity knocked on your footsteps? And you have been busy with yourself and your work to completely ignore what’s standing right next to you.
i am sure there are many instances where this [has]/[would have] happened with me. But this is something that i am consciously aware of and working on, trying to make sure i pay more attention to the smaller things in life. Cause you never know how and when opportunity comes knocking.
Another day at office and another instance of Nerd coolness/frankness.
It was about a new OPTION in the request system here @ work and a hopeful solution if the requests failed.
- magic : if something wrong happened to your request and you don’t understand what it was just try to resend your request with this option, it might help in some cases
- more magic : if even ‘magic’ doesn’t help try this one. If even ‘more magic’ is not enough to solve your issue then it makes sense to send e-mail to ####. It actually makes sense to do it even without trying ‘magic’ and ‘more magic’, but it’s your choice.
