fire and ice

My fascination for Iceland has - grown - over grown - or shall i say become an uncontrollable desire after having seen the ‘Lonely planet guide to Iceland and Greenland’ innumerable times. Something which i can say was also the case with the Norway trip. So i have been to Norway, yet there has been no post about it - reason: i cant seem to get myself to write a post about that trip, considering how memorable it was.

Back on track,

The most developed country in the world,[3] and the fourth most productive per capita,[4] Iceland is among the most prosperous countries in the world. - Wikipedia.

But i am not heading there for any of the above reasons. I am heading to Iceland because

Iceland is a stunningly beautiful place if you enjoy strange and desolate landscapes. Lava fields, lava tubes, plains of fractured rock, ice, fire and steam. - Wikitravel.

I have created a, list of places to visit (provided the weather permits) and photograph, list of Icelandic dishes to taste/eat, list of carters/volcanoes/hot springs/beaches/lakes to see, and finally Aurora Borealis. And as always with all big lists of desires, disappointment is not far behind.

Remaining posts on the travel and if there was any disappointment after i am back and if i have had any disappointments that is.
