i updated the wordpess engine and although the basic functions are working as expected some functionalities are missing.
i am working on getting a new theme , basically modifying some free theme to my taste. hopefully it should be up soon.

where i stand
out of curiosity i google’d my name/nick name/call tags and the results looked impressive.
vivek sekar : in the first page, only 3 links are not related to “vivek sekar” i.e. me 
viveksekar : everything in the first page is me 
“viveksekar”, with my development work also listed. my plans to takeover the world are slowly falling into place :P.
pragnyan : well my social side on the net came to view, and expect for one link, the rest are all mine.
as for vivek : i have a long way to go up the ladder i think, never checked where the links related to mine get listed.
i am atleast not a nobody w.r.t google, but so much for my cloak of invisibilty that i needed to takeover the world :P.
at least my blog template tweaks, some reordering of links and some “favour bank” compensations has helped the cause.

many borders to cross
as i am getting used to frequenting to the rock climbing facility every weekend, i will not be going there this easter weekend. instead i will be going to Budapest and from there on crossing 5 countries on the 4 day trip across mid and eastern Europe, from Hungary to Austria to Italy to Germany to Czech Republic to Slovakia. and the cities that have attentions are Budapest, Vienna, Venice, Munich, Prague, Bratislava.
i did not make my trip to Joensuu as planned, and might make it after i return, and by return i mean after i return from my vacation to India. the coming 2 weekends, i will be traveling and providing myself enough opportunities to go crazy, do stupid things and be myself also.
i have my music collection all setup and ready for the drive across a part Europe and cant wait to get behind the wheel.
Ready or not, here i come.

Hobbes has been everything i expected, and at times a little more also. i will update more about him at some point (knowing how frequent i am in updating the blog ).

day 1 of year 1 A.M
you would be wondering what the hell this title means, and below is the explanation for it.
yesterday night, we released modest beta for the public to use. Check the news here and get modest here (by the way its only for the N800/810 devices).
So for the team, “day 1 of year 1 A.M” - Today is the first day of the first year After.Modest as per the modestian calendar :-P.
By the way the Amsterdam trip post is still a draft and i have not put much in it to publish the post.
And in other news : I will be spending 8 days in Iceland!! Now i can strike off one more location from the list of places i want to visit.
i will post about everything that been going on, coming soon.
